Bali Day 1

went to bali with unclepapa, auntiemama, wei siang, hui fen, little gabriel, auntie, uncle and mum.

before bali, took pic of these 2 cuties.
Our flight to Bali was on MAS Airlines MH853 that would depart at 3:20pm on 29 May 2010. We reached KLIA at around 1:20pm.
first time went oversea, so first time at KLIA, i guess.....

first time on plane, it was like bus, but the meals were good, satay with fried rice+ferrero chocolate+water+juice+cake....(mas is better than air asia)

i thought i was gonna get so excited about flying high up and looking down, but i was way too emotionless, as usual. but the scenery of bali was nice, from the plane, the ocean was deep blue and bali seemed like a flat green pasture, then a few huge sudden curve up volcanic mountains, some releasing smokes, some gather water on top(became lakes), clouds, islands, clear blue rivers, not to forget that it was during sunset...breathtaking! too bad i didnt take any pic of those....

(pic from the internet)
bali's weather was cooler than malaysia, so i felt good.
landing time, i felt just fine, but mum and the rest got headache...
bali airport is at seaside, during landing, mum wondered why was the plane approaching the sea, haha..

It was all dark when we touched down and it was only about 6:30pm at Bali. Our driver/tour guide/boss himself- Made Kunawan, picked us up at the Ngurah Rai airport (Denpansar - Bali). Our first stop was not the hotel, but Jimbaran for dinner. Made recommended a very famous restaurant (there were so many restaurants there at Jimbaran) called Ganesha.

bali didnt feel so foreign to me as i'm used to indonesians and it's quite similar to malaysia.
as i imagine, hinduism and buddism culture, small busy roads, westerners....
(internet pic of denpasar, bali)
on the way to the restaurant, Made told us stuff about bali, he even told us that the bomb thing happened just at the back of his house, and there were cnn, bbc...and he's about to have secret service for obama's arrival to bali.

it seemed that the restaurant is at the seaside and we dined on the beach! enjoying the food under romantic candlelights, the larger-than m'sia-moon, dances, the ocean, airplanes landing at the airport and seafood!
love bali!
after meal, head to the hotel in Kuta and rest. nitez!
